WE ARE COMMITTED TO PREACHING AND TEACHING THE WORD OF CHRIST AND ADMINISTERING THE HOLY SACRAMENTS FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, LIFE AND SALVATION. WE DO THIS IN ACCORD WITH OUR CONFESSION OF GOD'S WORD BASED UPON THE LUTHERAN CONFESSIONS (THE BOOK OF CONCORD). WE EXPRESS THIS TRADITION IN THE DIVINE SERVICE. WE USE THE FIRST FOUR SERVICES IN THE LUTHERAN SERVICE BOOK IN ROTATION AND THEREFORE CELEBRATE THE LORD'S SUPPER EVERY LORD'S DAY.
We are loved and given mercy by our One God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit solely on account of His grace – His free gift of love and mercy through Jesus – and not on account of anything we have done.
We personally receive the benefits of God’s grace through faith alone. We don’t jump through hoops or do anything extraordinary to try to earn his love. Instead, through the word of Christ God creates faith in us to trust in Christ and this alone justifies (God declaring righteous through faith in His Son who is the basis and cause of our salvation).
We know God in a personal way according to how He has revealed Himself through the Holy Bible. God speaks to us through His Word and creates, sustains and nourishes our faith in Christ through His Word alone.
We are 100% confident that God is on our side through His Son – our Lord and Savior – Jesus Christ.
To God alone is all the glory, honor, and praise since "every good and perfect gift is from above" (James 1:17). Nothing that is good and salutary happens apart from the grace of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Even our good works were prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10). Thus, we believe in total and complete monergism that attributes both our justification and sanctification as coming from the Lord! Please read Ezekiel 36:24-27 as an example of our total and utter reliance upon the work of God in our lives. Therefore, it is our joy and duty to thank and praise Him as we exalt His Holy Name!
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (II Corinthians 5:21)
