What to Expect

Divine Service with Holy Communion 9:30 AM Every Sunday

Note to visitors: If you are still learning about the Lutheran Confession (or the Christian faith), we invite you to receive a blessing during communion. Please cross your arms or bow your head and the pastor will bless you.

OUR GOAL IN SERVING YOU IS VERY SIMPLE AND YET POWERFUL BECAUSE THROUGH FAITHFULNESS TO CHRIST’S WORD AND SACRAMENT: “CHRIST WILL SHINE ON YOU.” (EPHESIANS 5:14)

We are a congregation that is passionate about our Lord’s Great Commands to love Him and our neighbor (Matthew 22) and our Lord’s Great Commission to makes disciples of all nations (Matthew 28). We are eager to personally reach out to people one-on-one, connect everyone to the Life of the world — Jesus — through His Word, identify and support future professional church workers, support international missions, and to remember the poor, the sick, the unborn, the lonely, and those in prison.

We are a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod firmly holding to a liturgical tradition which conveys Christ’s Word and Sacraments in all our services. We are a Christian congregation committed to growing in our knowledge of the Word and then applying it by loving our neighbors. If you are seeking a church home, please know that we consider you beloved of God in Christ, and we would be honored to serve you! If you are interested in joining us, please speak to our pastor.

Children of all ages are welcome at our services. (We are also working on providing childcare for those who desire it.)  Every Sunday, we provide books and children's bulletins on the entrance table and offer a Children's Message at many of our services.  Parents are always welcome to take restless little ones to the back of the gym or even outside for a little sunshine at any time to help them calm down or get the wiggles out.

And, of course, we've got hot coffee, treats, & Bible class afterwards!

Every Sunday after service there is a chance to come together for a time of learning, fellowship, and even some laughter as we dive into the study prepared for that morning.
